On his way to Poland, a former New York cop – Paweł Kopiński encounters Oscar Thomas “Cappuccino” and Kranz, American gangsters whom he blames for his wife’s death. During a dangerous confrontation the character finds out about a meeting of drug dealers planned in the Masuria. Arrested by the Polish police, Kopiński is interrogated by lieutenant Borewicz. The policeman is well aware that the American will want to take revenge on his enemies. Nevertheless, he sets him free, hoping that the determined Kopiński will show him the way to the bandits’ hideaway. He does not expect that the terminally ill policeman has nothing to lose – his only goal is to get even with “Cappuccino”.
