A national version of a western taking place in the Bieszczady Mountains when the people’s rule is being established.

The Bieszczady Mountains, a year after the end of World War II. Former soldiers stay in one of the small towns. One of them – Brzoza is to marry Maryna here. Unfortunately, the boss of a local gang who used to have a crush on the bride, is also going to attend the ceremony. Despite the soldiers’ attempts, a conflict arises and there’s a shooting. The situation is brought under control after the arrival of a military unit. Four soldiers are killed. The neighborhood becomes calm and safe again.
