An action film with a dense, claustrophobic atmosphere emanating a sense of omnipresent threat. The action takes place right after World War II on Recovered Territories.

The underground movement has sentenced a young girl, hiding in one of the villas in Kamieniec, to death. Resettles arrive in the town and are welcomed at the railway station. The executioner pretending to be an art collector among them. The man begins to have doubts whether the decision to kill  is right. The girl is lonely, intimidated, hides in her room and tries to defend herself against intruders by making up a story about brothers who are policemen. The fake collector wins her trust. Having no information about conducting the execution, more activists arrive in Kamieniec. The collector tells them he could not fulfil the task because of his moral dilemma. He is ready to bear the consequences of his decision. Ada argues she’s innocent. The would-be executioner commits suicide.
