Memories women once loved by the painter Janek, evoked by a guilty conscience – the result of not helping an old friend.
The painter Janek is waiting for a female friend at a busy intersection. He can’t shake off the feeling that something tragic is going to happen this evening. He answers questions asked by random people. In his head he plays back scenes from his previous romantic relationships. He keeps waiting, the girl doesn’t show up. On his way home Janek notices her waiting in an apartment building stairwell.
