Ruthless spy Bernard arrives in Poland and establishes cooperation with two deep undercover agents. He uses wireless operators without them knowing it to contact his superiors. The Security Service gets on his trail. Its officers begin a thorough investigation and gradually find out all they need about their opponent. They manage to prevent his escape to the West, but it costs one of them his life.
