Scorpio, Virgo and Sagittarius

(Skorpion, panna i łucznik)

1973   >   psychological

A ballad about a wandering group of friends and their relations.

Three incredible friends: Magda, Jakub and “Kapucyn” are travelling by an old, colorful bus. They pose for photos pretending to be saints and perform at indulgence feasts and open air markets. One day, a silent stranger appears. They give him bread and wine. In the morning, the guest leaves taking a camera with him. While running away he smashes the camera against stones, bereaving the group of their source of income. The autumn is coming, they are short of money. Jakub suggests that Magda could earn like in the past. Humiliated, the girl commits suicide in a vehicle that falls into a precipice. Jakub kills Kapucyn in a fight.
