A story of the relationship of two young people who after a traumatic accident completely change their perspective, become serious about their until then neglected feeling, grow emotionally and take responsibility for each other. The directorial debut of cinematographer Andrzej Kostenko.
Ania is a sociology student. She makes extra money cleaning people’s apartments. One day during work she falls down from a window and accidentally destroys the owner’s guitar. This is how she gets to meet Witek, a fashion designer. He offers her a job as a model. Eventually, Ania moves in with Witek, accepting the casual, open form of their relationship. After a while it turns out that she is pregnant. Witek doesn’t want the child and tries to convince her to have an abortion, but Ania categorically refuses. Finally, she manages to convince Witek to get married. On their way to Ania’s mother a tragic incident happens. The couple stops in an inn where Witek gets into a fight with a few men. He gets beaten up and thrown into a calcium container with lime causing him to lose sight. Ania is guilt-ridden. Blind Witek rejects her help, believing that it is motivated only by her pity. Eventually, Ania’s patience and care pay off. In the end, Witek believes that her feelings for him are sincere.
