The problem of drug addiction among young people, for whom addiction is a vital part of their broadly understood friendship and loyalty.

A young drug addict, Pantarej, and his friend Zito get drugs by using fake prescriptions. They spend their life having fun and meetings friends. When they run out of prescriptions, Pantarej pretends to be a medical supplier and steals a large amount of drugs from an oncological hospital. He hides some of them. Zito dies overdosing. The militia starts an investigation and finds a link between Zito’s death and the theft from the hospital. Pantarej seeks refuge in a drug addiction center near Warsaw. He leaks to the center manager that some of his patients still take drugs. Tagged as an informer, Pantarej has to leave the place. Before he runs away, he takes his revenge on Mr. Godecki, the center manager. He takes a young drug addict, Leokadia, with him. Pantarej’s father dies when he learns that his son is an addict. Leokadia finds Pantarej’s secret stash of drugs. He dies of an overdose. Running to get drugs, Pantarej is hit by a car and he dies.
