A directorial debut of Andrzej Czekalski, who won viewers’ acclaim as the author of the screenplay to the film “Ewa chce spać” directed by Tadeusz Chmielewski.
Reality shown in a distorting mirror, associations with mass culture, playing with styles and stereotypes, gags full of surreal humor – all this makes one of the most original Polish comedies of the communist times.
A superb cast with great cameo appearances, including Wiesław Gołas, Jan Kobuszewski, Wojciech Pokora, Roman Polański and Mieczysław Czechowicz.
