A blockbuster comedy for fans of slice-of-life satire, "The Cruise" and films in the vein of Stanisław Bareja's cinema.
Deeply absurd yet at the same time thoroughly realistic and universal, the film mocks bureaucracy, nonsensical regulations and omnipresent incompetence.
The cast includes a number of great actors appearing in supporting roles: Edward Dziewoński, Bogumił Kobiela, Jan Kobuszewski, Ryszarda Hanin, Wiesław Gołas, Wojciech Pokora, Magdalena Zawadzka, Kazimierz Opaliński and many others. A large part of the cast were also members of the legendary cabaret act Kabaret Dudek.
A full-length version of "Nowy pracownik", Jerzy Ziarnik's short film from three years back commissioned by the Central Board of Trade Unions.
