Sewek, a former music academy student presently working as a car mechanic, falls in love in Natalia, who is his senior, after seeing her for the first time. He quits his job and follows her to Gdańsk, where he discovers that she is married. Despite this, Sewek does everything he can to win her affection. Unhappy in her marriage, Natalia gradually starts to trust and like her crazy admirer. Always full of energy, Sewek helps the woman regain joy in her life. Concerned, her husband resorts to deceit to bring their relationship to an end.
