They unite to catch a poacher who has been active in the local forests for a few years now and poses a threat to animals inhabiting them, including the majestic deer Bartek. The children decide to help expose the criminal. Their sometimes funny and sometimes dangerous investigation gradually brings tangible results. When the poacher outsmarts them one more time all the characters, children and adults alike, join forces to set another trap.
