A true feeling between two people from different walks of life and an „arranged marriage” based on genuine love.
A young artist – Andrzej can hardly make ends meet as he unsuccessfully tries to sell his paintings. One day he meets the woman of his dreams – beautiful Joanna, daughter of wealthy traders from Różycki Bazaar. Despite the fact that they have almost nothing in common, a passionate feeling develops between the two of them. To start with Joanna’s father is opposed to the relationship, however he quickly realizes that an artist’s profession is a great cover-up for hiding illegal income. Mysteriously Andrzej’s paintings become very popular and reach very high prices, so the young couple can plan their marriage. They marry because of love, however for everybody else this is a typical „arranged marriage”.
