A comedy about a worker and his family who after moving from a Warsaw suburb to a new flat discover that they share it with an unusual tenant - all against the backdrop of heartless bureaucracy, unhelpful civil servants and inefficient administration.
The Piotrkowski family move into the long-awaited four-room flat, only to discover that it already has a tenant – a phantom that glows in the dark. Apart from the fact that its sheer presence is rather annoying, the phantom consumes huge amounts of electric energy, which drives the family’s electricity bills through the roof. Meanwhile, grandma tells the neighbours about the miracle.
