A comedy of errors in which an inconspicuous protagonist presents an unusual talent for unwittingly getting into various criminal business.

PZU insurance agent Anatol Kowalski is on his way to a well-deserved vacation. At the last moment his superior asks him to look into the case of swimsuit robbery which took place in Paryżewo. Anatol is mistakenly taken for a rich Canadian and chosen for head juror at a beauty pageant held in Paryżewo. As a result he attracts the interest of the contestants and their fans. During the pageant the protagonist finds the missing swimsuits and unmasks the thief, still having to explain what happened to the fame-hungry girls…

The final act of Mr Anatol’s adventures has an abundance of parody and slapstick humor.

Appearing alongside stars like Barbara Połomska or Bogumił Kobiela are

Stanisław Tym and Henryk Kluba (although their main function was supporting the director).
