A fantastic and humorous adaptation of the popular novel written by Wiktor Woroszylski.

The film has an imaginative opening sequence designed by Bohdan Butenko, the immensely popular illustrator of children’s books (including the first edition of “I ty zostaniesz Indianinem”.

The unusual adventures of a boy who dreamed of becoming a Native American and who gets caught up in a criminal affair.

Mirek Kubiak, an elementary school student, wants to become a Native American. One day he receives a mysterious silver tomahawk. The boy isn’t aware he’s become the target of bandits how are trying to get a hold of the object. A young man who says he’s an emissary sent by the Apache chief convinces Mirek to take on several difficult tasks. Performing them lands him in the hands of criminals who are planning to rob a jeweler. The smart boy is able to escape and prevent the robbery. He becomes an honorary member of the tribe for his courage.

The black and white film has two colored scenes: Mirek’s dream and the final sequence which takes place in a prairie and Apache camp.
