A couple of days in the life of driver Tadeusz. Travelling across the country, Tadeusz gets to know it inside out at the cost of losing touch with his own family.
30-year old Tadeusz works as a driver in a transportation depot, at the same time writing short stories based on his own life experience. Continuous work away from home has a negative impact on his family life. The man is practically absent from the everyday life of his wife and son, soon becoming an intruder in his own house. During one of his trips, he meets his old friends from the university. His literary ambition pushed him to quit studying. He realizes that he cannot keep juggling the roles of driver, writer, husband and father. He must choose something. When travelling with an older and disliked colleague, Tadeusz decides to take an illegal fare, which may end tragically.
