A socialist realist production in the convention of a crime and action movie. An interesting intrigue and fast-paced action contrasted with propaganda clichés and stereotypical characters.

A story of a failed attempt to destroy a thoroughbred horse farm.

Cases of disease and death are reported among horses in a renowned stud farm in Reglach. Local peasants start to panic and spread rumor of a severe epidemic. The tests show that the animals were poisoned. Some of the staff members suspect Bronka, a young veterinarian. In order to disprove the false accusations, the woman undertakes to reveal the real perpetrator. An official investigation is also launched by lieutenant Kłos from the secret political police. He discovers that one of the farm employees is not who he says he is.
