Egg nog

(Kogel-Mogel)

1986   >   Situation comedy

A fast paced comedy fueled by outstanding verbal humor .

The end of the 80s. An ambitious country girl confronts her parents and tries to apply
to a university in Warsaw. She fails and starts working as a nanny. She is plagued by the child’s fathers pick-up lines, the mother’s temper and the grandmother’s flamboyant attitude.
The jealous wife wants to fire her. Kasia meets Paweł. Caught in an ambiguous situation she loses her job. Paweł takes her to his home village where he proposes to her. It turns out he is the rich farmer her parents wanted her to marry.

A classic comedy of errors where one leads to the other and creates a whole avalanche
of misunderstandings. A satire of the customs of city and country-dwellers both calling themselves modern.
