An interesting take on reviewing one’s own life, values and motivation through the eyes of a 45 year old man who is faced with being diagnosed with cancer and who takes to sorting out his life. The film also presents an abundance of observations on customs and food.

Krzysztof is a dynamic and well-organized person. His tidy world breaks apart into pieces when he is diagnosed with terminal cancer. He decides to sort things out before the operation. He realizes that his closest environment, professional issues and everything he thought he was indispensable for can actually continue functioning perfectly well without him. Having made peace with the fact he sells his car, quits his job and divorces his wife. The operation is a success, there’s no more danger, but Krzysztof decides not to go return to the past and begins making a new life for himself.
