Novel I
A young playboy Peter Nawrocki comes to his ancestors’ fatherland to visit his uncle Konstanty. He doesn’t know that the family had put the elderly man in a nursing home and used the money he had sent them from America to buy an apartment. Upon finding out about their relative’s visit the Nawrocki family try to persuade the uncle to move in with them.
Novel II
Mike O’Raviec goes to the village his father comes from to find a wife. A wealthy American attracts a lot of interest. Local mountaineers go to great lengths to impress him with their hospitality, trying to marry off their daughters. However, Mike’s eye is caught by a robust and mature Maryna…
Novel III
Harry Kwasnick visits Poland on business. The man wants to sell Poles living in America the ground from famous battlefields. Together with a clever local driver he travels around the country, encountering different, frequently absurd obstacles.
The Polish Americans are played by Paul Glass, an American of Polish descent who studies in the Warsaw conservatory and Mitchell Kowal, a Hollywood actor known mostly for cameo appearances in western movies.
The film “Jadą goście, jadą” was distributed in the United States based on the agreement that Mitchell Kowal concluded with the Film Rental Center.
