An epic Polish-Bulgarian co-production. Outstanding cinematography and beautiful natural landscapes.

The first half of the 17th century. Hanusz’s father is taken captive by the Turks and his wealth is taken over by conmen. A befriended Cossack Semen entrusts the boy with a precious gem called Oko Proroka (Prophet’s Eye). Soon, Hanusz has to run away from people who are ready to do anything to get the treasure. The character sets off on a long journey full of adventures and dangerous situations, during which he travels through foreign lands, meets new enemies and friends and saves his father. With Cossacks’ help they both return to the country and get their stolen property back.
